    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Server. Using Confluence Cloud? See the corresponding suggestion.

Live Search Macro causes Cross Domain warning (in IE only) when Confluence is using SSL and Server Base URL is not set to https. For example, user is accessing Confluence via https://confluence.abc.com , but server base url is set to http://confluence.abc.com.

When performing a search in a space (Live Search Macro), IE generates the warning:

      • "This page is accessing information that is not under its control . This poses a security risk. Do you want to continue?'

The warning is coming from the fact that they are executing AJAX across a different domain (from https to http).

The macor shoud be improved to point to https://... instead of http://.
