Inserting a link in the wiki markup mode in IE (tested IE6 and IE7) inserts the link at the end of the page. The correct behaviour should be to insert the link where the cursor is. Inserting a link in the Rich Text Editor mode works as expected.
Step to replicate:
- When editing a page in wiki markup mode using IE7, place the cursor somewhere other than the bottom of the page.
- Hit the insert link icon and type any link.
- Select OK.
- The selected link gets inserted at the bottom of the page instead of where the cursor was.
When using Safari 3.1.1 on OS X or Firefox 3.0 on Linux and Firefox 2 on Windows, the link gets placed where the cursor is.
