Improve Index macro to index by page(s), blogs, news, space, etc.

      Can you please improve the index macro to index by page(s), blogs, news, space, etc.

      Currently the macro is useless because it is very generic and does not serve different situations. I think it can be incredibly useful if some modifications were made to it. For example: it could be used as an acronym indexer or a dictionary.
