      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Is it possible to disable Pretty URLs for Confluence? I can see it in the installed plugins but can't remove it.

      It’s troublesome for link sharing and people generally tend to copy URLs. This means that when a page name changes or is moved then the links are no longer valid.

      I'm aware that you can use the Link to this page functionality and we can educate people to do this, but often it's just habit to just copy the URL
