      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      When you create a "jira" team calendar in Confluence, any date changes made to the jira issues related to this calendar are not automatically shown on the team calendar until a user manually refreshes this calendar.

      It will be good to set a time interval when the team calendar calls jira for any changes, something similar to jira dashboard gadgets that auto refresh the data they display.
