Problem: The calendar errors that render
1. Dominate a lot of visual space
2. Most of the time the end-user has zero control to fix them (e.g. server down).
This is what it looks like today
Which I think is far too weighted heavily. It may look not too bad on the mycalendars view, but looks worse on the Dashboard or embedded on a page.
A suggestion
- If there is more than one event type on a calendar, but just JIRA files, render a exclamation mark
icon and sentence "Some events could not load. Learn more"m clicking on it gives you an inline dialog with the problems and what you can do about them.
