Either lost the ability to see the question in activity order or recent selection is broken

I was displaying questions in the recent order. I was answering a question that was second in the list. The question before me had no answers. I answered the question. When I displayed the recent list again, my question was still the second question in the list. with the same first question without any answers. I highly doubt the question was edited since it was an hour old.

I would like to see the order of questions by last activity either with or without editing included.
