2000 emails sent for one event x 147 followers = ... (and counting)

      Hi,

      The question https://answers.atlassian.com/questions/247468/is-there-a-way-to-make-it-so-that-there-is-one-notification-per-24-hours keeps sending notifications every 10 seconds or so, since 24 hours.

      We're at 2000 emails, and it keeps sending. Also, there are 147 followers for that question.

      I shall suggest to suspend the mail server, maybe?

      Also I have a request for my karma: It has not been incremented 2000 times
