Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.
According to the Security FAQ of Atlassian, we do have TLS to protect information. However, the attachment files of the instance are not secure, since it will be under the file system of the application.
Since the attachments could contain several information from users, the encryption of files at rest/ keeping their hierarchical parts encrypted during motion would be provide the users a more secure method to avoid any information breaching.
This is a suggestion to have Confluence using encryption for the attachments stored under the file system.
