      Summary

      Editing a page with a large table leads to unresponsive script warning in Firefox with Windows

      Environment

      • Firefox 47.0.1
      • Windows 7
      • Confluence 5.10.1
      • Confluence Cloud

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create a new page.
      2. Insert a table that has over 200 rows with over 16 columns.
      3. Save page.
      4. Edit the page

      Expected Results

      Page editor should load normally.

      Actual Results

      Page editor takes over 15 seconds to load and "Warning: Unresponsive script" pop up is seen with options to "Continue, Debug script, Stop script". Page finishes loading after clicking "Continue"

      Notes

      • Tested with Mac OS X with Firefox 42.0 - the editor loads as expected for page with large table.

      Workaround

      • Use a different browser to edit the page
