Description
NOTE: This bug report is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding bug report.
When viewing pages with a large amount of comments in Confluence, the page will take a very long time to load. A page with 100+ comments from different users slows dramatically when loading.
I see the content (the actual comments) loading quickly - but I see a lot of GET requests thereafter - many of which are pulling avatars for each of the users that are commenting in the instance, together with a lot of what appears to be template calls.
This is really slow (took 32 seconds to load a page) on the instance I tested on, and it does require many users with avatars to see the effect.I believe those things should be pulled from cache, not retrieved on every comment. That would likely speed up the page load.
