      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      The classic Confluence implementation is to permit View access by default to the whole space, and then restrict specific areas or pages.  Instead of doing this, it'd be a lot more better to reverse this in some situations to deny by default unless permission has been explicitly granted.
