    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

I have copied some of the comments from CONF-29116, since this issue is resolved and there are no response on comments regarding children and current page.

CQL doesn't currently offer a resolution to this use case since it allows you to specify a specific ancestor or parent rather than the current page as the ancestor or parent. This means that you have to specify a specific page name, so it can't be used when creating templates. What's needed is the equivalent of the Space function currentSpace() to allow users to specify that the page on which the macro appears is the intended ancestor/parent, e.g. ancestor = currentPage().

It should be possible to use this in a template by (i.e.) adding @self as the ancestor value.

Page Properties Report should replace Matadata Report, since this macro is no longer supported. Metadata Report plugin which had this functionality and led to very useful templates. Everything that was possible with Metadata Plugin ver. 1 should be possible in Page Properties Report.
