    Description

NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

I notice that when using the iFrame macro, you can assign an ID. What we would like to see is the ability to assign a name to the iFrame macro, and then when creating links on a Confluence page, have the ability (possibly under Advanced links options where you modify anchor links) to target an iFrame by name (in case there are multiple iFrames on a page)

We have pages where we have close to 100 links on them and right now if a user clicks on a link, it opens in the parent window causing the user to leave Confluence. They can click back to in their browser or keyboard to return to Confluence, but this isn't ideal.

What would be ideal would be to create an iFrame on the page, and when we're creating links we would like to have an option under the Edit Link button to specify an iFrame (by iFrame name) to open the link in. That way the user can see the iFrame content without leaving the parent Confluence window.
