    Description

      NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.

      Steps to reproduce the problem:

      1) Create a space named SpaceA
      2) Create a page within SpaceA called PageA
      3) Attach an image to PageA named ImageA.png
      4) On PageA, add a gallery macro containing ImageA.png
      5) Export PageA and verify that the full page along with the image were exported with the image available by clicking on the thumbnail
      6) Create a space named SpaceB
      7) Create a page within SpaceB called PageB
      8) On PageB, add a gallery macro for ImageA.png using the syntax:

      {gallery:include=ImageA.png|page=SpaceA:PageA}

      9) Export PageB and notice that the image has not been exported. When the export has been opened in a webbrowser, the thumbnail for ImageA is visible, but cannot be clicked to view the full size.

      So, in a nutshell, if you are using a gallery macro that includes an image attachment from other space, I think the correct is to export this image together when exporting the original space where the gallery macro resides.
