It's not possible to edit site layout when the Easy Reader Theme has been selected. Confluence displays the message "You can not customise the site look and feel while a theme is active. You must first disable the currently configured theme."

However Easy Reader Theme relies on standard decorators. So it should be possible to edit them. Moreover if we customize the decorators while Default Theme is activated and then switch back to Easy Reader, the changes are available in the Easy Reader Theme.
