Description
NOTE: This suggestion is for Confluence Cloud. Using Confluence Server? See the corresponding suggestion.
There are currently a few known issues that relate to different URLs used other than the Confluence base URL when performing Confluence functions:
This configuration is commonly called "multi-homing". There are two different configurations for this:
- "Simple multi-homing": changes to the scheme (http/https), host name or port on different aliases
- "Advanced multi-homing": changes to the path of the application on different aliases.
Confluence does not support either of the two configurations above. It has been agreed that Confluence will not at support Advanced multi-homing. There is, however an opportunity for Confluence to support simple multi-homing.
This request is to support simple multi-homing.
