Blog-posts macro needs to have an option to filter based on publication date

The blog-posts macro would be significantly more useful if it could apply time based filtering on the publication date vs. the modified date of the news item. This would open the door for many additional uses like newsletters, etc. It would appear that a new parameter maybe required to keep backward compatibility with the older versions of the macro.
