I was trying to set up project dependencies for the JIRA dependant projects. For the JIRA Toolkit I created dependencies to JIRA, atlassian-renderer etc. The build did not trigger when JIRA was built, and wouldn't build manually either, even after a restart. Only solution was to remove dependencies, then manually rebuild.

The dependencies feature would be particularly useful for us as we have a significant number of dependant projects that we want to setup on both the branch and head builds of JIRA, as well as common projects (like renderer) that both JIRA and Confluence depend on.

Is there any documentation on project dependencies? I didn't see anything in the limited confluence stuff on the subject.

We'll try to post up some info on this today. AFAIK, project dependencies don't work at the moment (that's why we didn't really mention in it in our docs).

We're looking in to it!
