Possible connection leak to EC2

We need to look into this as this might be a potential problem for our customers using Elastic Bamboo.

Most of the connections (around 1300 of them at least) seem to be Bamboo to Bamboo connections (EC2 tunnel?). There did not seem to be any problems with the US AWS data centers that might be causing API hangs at the time this ticket was filed.
