Builds triggered by dependencies are not reported correctly in email notifications. Instead they are reported as initial or manual builds.

It would be even better if dependency builds indicated which dependency triggered the build.

Hi,

I have made some improvements to the email notifications to better identify the reason for the build. However, Bamboo doesn't currently keep track of which build caused the dependency build. I have raised an improvement request to have this kind of information stored - you can track it at http://jira.atlassian.com/browse/BAM-1297. Once this is added we can look at putting this extra information in the notifications as well.

The notification improvements will be included in the next release (1.1.2).

Cheers,
Brydie
