Update to Asset Custom Field in Issue view results in unusual behaviour

      Issue Summary

      Updating the Asset Custom field in the Issue view screen results in unusual behaviour. This behaviour is not consistent and occurs randomly.

      This behaviour has been observed in the "Affected Services" field as well.

      Below are the behaviours observed:

      1. The value selected in the custom field is different from the chosen value
      2. Value can't be found
      3. For multi-select field, the value reverts to the old value.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Create single-select and multi-select custom Asset custom fields having multiple values
      2. Try choosing values randomly to observe the behaviour.

      Expected Results

      Expect the chosen value to be available in the Asset Custom field.

      Actual Results

      The selected value is different from the chosen value in the Asset Custom field.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
