Issue Summary
Customers with over 2000 items in their space trash will not see items in the trash beyond the 2,000th and any pages older than that cannot be restored through the UI.
Steps to Reproduce
- Accumulate over 2,000 deleted items in a space's trash, which have not been purged yet
- Attempt to locate by title a page which you have been tasked with restoring
Expected Results
You will be able to find the page by using the browser's search function and are able to restore the desired page through the UI.
Actual Results
If the document you are after was created before the 2,000th deleted page listed on the screen then you will not be able to locate your page because it is too far down in the list be part of the first 2000 that the page currently shows (ordered by contentID, descending).
Workaround
You can restore a trashed page manually if you know its contentId and the space key. In your browser session, just open this URL and confirm:
http://<hostname>:<port>/<context-path>/pages/restoretrashitem.action?key=<space-key>&contentId=<page-Id>
