User Problem
In an automation rule, an user can't use variables in a POST request header
Suggested Solutions
Allow variables to be used in a JSON object in the HTTP request header.
Current Workarounds
Store the value that will be used inside a JSON object in another place, like a Custom Field or the card description and then reference that variable inside the JSON object.
