User Problem
With the recent changes to Trello's navigation, accessing the boards list on the left side of the screen has become more challenging. Previously, the layout allowed for easy visualization and seamless switching between boards. Now, when using multiple boards, it is difficult to navigate from one to another, and it requires extra steps.
Suggested Solutions
Add a navigation menu as an option to keep it displayed on the left side of the screen, similar to the existing Inbox and Planner options.

fd5ee99a7a4c from the blog you indicate this is possible but my team and I do not have the 3 dots in the top roght corner to pin the boards back - HELP? How do we see these?
"To switch from the current popover board switcher to the pinned version, click the board switcher button located in the button navigation. Then, click the … icon in the top right corner and select the pinned board switcher option."
