Card description with embed markdown appears blank in edit mode

      Issue Summary

      If a card description has markdown, and you edit the card description, the description shows as blank.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Edit a card description and enter in markdown e.g.  
        [{https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Azi0_d_lNmE}]({https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Azi0_d_lNmE} "smartCard-embed")
      1. Save the description
      2. Edit the description again
      3. Description is blank

      Expected Results

      Card description should return all information

      Actual Results

      Card description is blank
