Description
Installation instructions for a number of translation packs are still using some outdated terms that might make it confusing for users in Jira to install these. For example, the download page that contains these instructions:
https://translations.atlassian.com/dashboard/download?lang=fi_FI#/JIRA%20Software/7.6.0-int-0189
Has the following:
Installation Instructions
- Download the above jar file.
- In the ''Administration'' section of JIRA, click the ''Plugins'' link and go to the ''Install'' tab.
- Click the ''Upload Plugin'' link and use the ''Browse'' button to find the downloaded jar from your hard drive, and select it.
- Click ''Upload''.
The problem here is that there is no "Plugins" link to click in any such administration menu in modern Jira versions.
Instead this should probably read something like:
- Download the above jar file
- Login to Jira as a system administrator
- Navigate to Cog Icon -> Add-ons -> Manage Add-ons
- Click the Upload add-on link on this page. (If you do not see this link on this page, your Jira account might not have the needed permissions to install this package).
- Click Upload.
