It would be nice to have stash auto detect a readme file in the root of the project directory and display it similar to the way github does. After using github for a couple years I'm used to this and now drop a readme in the root of all my projects that describes what the project does, how to set it up, supported platforms, etc.

Markdown or html support for parsing the readme would be nice too.
