Unable to install sourcetree

      I have downloaded the newest version of sourcetree and am unable to run the installation. The window opens for a while and gives an error sourcetree has stopped working.  I have tried with previous versions but the problem remains. 

      I checked the log which shows

      ERROR [2018-08-03 11:47:23,937] [1] [SourceTree.App] [.ctor] - finish EnsureSquirrelExecutionStubIsCopied

      So I tried to manually implement the following setting in the user.config

      <setting name="AutomaticallyCleanUpDictionaryFiles" serializeAs="String">
      <value>True</value>
      </setting>

       

      The problem however, still remains, please suggest a solution

            Hi do you still experience the problem with v2.6.10?

            If so can you attach %localappdata%/Atlassian/Sourcetree/sourcetree.log
