SourceTree 2.4.8.0
Windows 10 v 1511 (10586.1176)
-
Severity 3 - Minor
My computer is in a corporate controlled environment which blocked anniversary, creators and fall updates.
One of these 3 updates is necessary to install the .NET Framework 4.7+ which is necessary to run SourceTree v2.5.5.
SourceTree should check if the dependencies for the next version can be fulfilled before proposing to update to an unusable version requiring a reinstall.

Hi
The update process is handled by the 3rd party Squirrel.Windows component, it does detect missing .NET dependencies when run as a clean installer, but I'd not seen its behaviour during such an update. We will investigate what we can do.
The older version should still be available in the %localappdata%\Sourcetree\app-2.4.8 folder
