Diff pane sometimes not loading

The lower-right pane on the Log/History tab sometimes appears as if it's loading forever (it really never stops showing the loading animation). At that time it also refuses to show the diff for any file selected on the lower left pane.

Sometimes this can be remedied by switching to another repo, and then back. A more reliable workaround is to restart the program.

This is a severe impact on the usefulness of the program, to be brutally honest.
