- Tools > Options > Git (tab), check Enable verbose console output
- Checkout branch
- Error message caused by -v switch:
git -c diff.mnemonicprefix=false -c core.quotepath=false checkout -v master error: unknown switch `v' usage: git checkout [<options>] <branch> or: git checkout [<options>] [<branch>] -- <file>...
git checkout documentation shows no -v (verbose) switch.
