Being a right handed, it's pretty akward to press `ctrl+shift+=` to add a file on stage. Would be nice to allow configuring default shortcuts.

Also, on the same page, configuring double click action on working copy changes and staged changes panels would be a nice addition. I guess is more useful to stage a file with double click, rather than open it.

A work around has been suggested and  it has been already fixed in the latest version of sourcetree in a different way and hence closing this ticket

I did just realize by accident that you can now drag the files from one pane to the other.  That works for me.

I find it odd that this is so old. I swear that like the 1.(6|7) version of this handled the double click and that the feature was removed.

            Oh I forgot:
This is much more important in the new BETA Version of SourceTree, because the Checkboxes where REMOVED, so you have to click the "Stage Selected" thing on the top ef the list every time. Thats of course ergonomical non-sense.

In any proper modern GUI with interactive elements I expect double click to do the main action. Which in this case would be (un)staging.

I used to be able to double click or drag/drop files between the staged/unstaged file areas, now I have to either use the right-click context menu or select file(s) and click the stage button. I am not sure why the Windows version of this app goes through so many "breaking" UI changes, but it would be really helpful if you could ease up on the functionality changes, especially when it comes to removing existing functionality.

I also vote for the double-click to be configurable. Opening up an external diff tool on double-click would be really nice. I added my vote above.

I would love to see the double click action configurable. My preference would be to have it launch the external diff tool
