Branch list sorting

The order of branches in the Branches tree changes often, and isn't consistent; for example, switching branches can cause the list to change order.

Please make it so the branch list is sorted predictably.
It would be even better if the sort could put branch folders at the top of the view (by branch folders, I mean folders in the tree that result from branches named like "folder-part/branch-part")
