      Both BitBucket and GitHub support emoji's in their commit messages. I think it would be a welcome addition to Sourcetree to display them and popup an autocomplete box of emoji when a : is typed.

            I just realized SourceTree totally supports (as far as I can tell) copy/pasting emojis from a site like http://emojipedia.org/ or using your system keyboard emojis on mac into your commit message.

            Unicode emoji have gotten to a point I can type emoji in most major OS's so I no longer am concerned with this issue.
