Keyboard selection of files in the Log History and File Status are too slow, Log History even more than File Status.

To reproduce:

0. Make sure you have a lot of items in the Log History or File Status
1. Hold down the shift key
2. Click any file item in the Log History or File Status
3. Hold down the up or down arrow key for a while
4. Observe the selection to add files in batches of about a dozen (depending on machine speed): inbetween those batches lots of CPU is used on painting.
