Description
As a user, when I'm entering a commit message, I would like to adhere to the 50/72 rule so that my commits are consistent with the team and general Git guidelines.
GIVEN I am committing a file to a repository, WHEN I enter the message into the commit textview, THEN I would like to see the line and column of the cursor's current position AND these values should change appropriately as I edit the commit message.
For example, you could put a label underneath the commit message textview that contained Line:Column. I would expect the values to change as I type so that they values always reflect the current location of the cursor. This would be especially helpful given that the commit message textview uses a variable width font.
Technically, it is the Column value I would find most valuable as it is the message width that is harder to estimate quickly.
