    Description

When I click the "Edit Config File..." button in the "Remotes" or "Advanced" tabs of the "Repository Settings... ⇧⌘," dialog, the "config" file is always opened with TextEdit.app. I'd like SourceTree to open this and other files with a different editor, MacVim. I've tried changing this behavior by setting the git config "core.editor" to "/usr/local/bin/mvim", but it makes no difference.

Apparently, TextEdit is hard-coded into SourceTree. Please make it an option the user can change, either in the SourceTree preferences or the git configuration.
