Git 2.5 come with a new command worktree:
https://git-scm.com/docs/git-worktree
You can use it to manage multiple working trees attached to the same repository.
It is very useful when working on large project with multiple working branches.
Hope GitUp can support this wonderful new feature.

Disregard my comment above. This (CO of the same branch) is a "feature" of git, that makese sense to me. So it works OK
Still, it would be nice to be able to create a worktree within SourceTree in windows.

added a comment - It kinda works (on windows). They look as if it is one repo, but you cannot have both check out the same branch, so you need to constantly be checking out different versions to make this work.

Why is this available in the Mac version and not the Windows version? Although we can do it via a command prompt and then add to SourceTree it breaks up the workflow.

I'm using windows, i noticed that if i create a worktree folder manually from the command line and I then drag that folder into bookmarks section of the UI it works fine.
The whole point of worktrees is being able to have visibility of multple commit-ish structures simultaneously. A restriction of only allowing one worktree or normal clone really should be considered a defect.
