I have also experienced this on osx 10.10 before I upgraded to El Capitan.

My language settings is: Danish keyboard and danish. I prefer american english.

I use a lot of technical terms in my commit texts.
SourceTree's textview autocorrects things in a bad bad way.

When I type "json" then two seconds later SourceTree replaces it with "son".
When I type "serialize" then it becomes "serialise".
When I type "swifty" it becomes "swift".

I have made several commits where a message that used the right terms got autocorrect just the moment that I hit commit. I write using 10 fingers, so I'm writing fast. It is really annoying to get autocorrect, when it's wrong.

Please make an option to disable autocorrect in the commit message textview.

Perhaps make a red underline, below the words that may be typed incorrect.
