Independent Acknowledgment for Multi-Team Alerts

    • Our product teams collect and evaluate feedback from a number of different sources. To learn more about how we use customer feedback in the planning process, check out our new feature policy.

      Problem: When alerts involve multiple teams, acknowledgment by one team stops notifications for all. This can lead to other teams missing the alert.

      Proposed:

      Require each team to acknowledge alerts separately.

      Allow notifications to continue for each team until they acknowledge the alert.

      Ensure team-specific escalation paths remain active until acknowledgment by that team.

      Benefits:

      Improves coordination and responsiveness among teams.

      Ensures all teams are aware and accountable in multi-team alerts.
