Java Script Error: "AJS.Confluence.PropertyPanel.Macro is null or undefined" in Internet Explorer 7

When creating or editing a page in Confluence 3.5.17 in IE7, the Office Connector, (bundled version 2.0.13_backport), throws the following Java Script error:

AJS.Confluence.PropertyPanel.Macro is null or undefined

This version was released as part of the security advisory and therefore there is no further upgrade path for these customers.

Workaround: At this stage the only workaround is to downgrade the Office Connector to v1.18, but this is not advisable for anyone who's instance is accessible to the internet or available for public signup because this would expose the security vulnerability to any logged in user. However, this workaround would work for anyone who is using their Confluence internally and can trust their users.
