DB performance issue causing timeout with Internal Server Error

      Issue Summary

      DB timeout issues due to performance.

      Steps to Reproduce

      Under some circumstances, Jira add-ons may trigger this while running JQLs resulting an error or the add-ons functions stop working. This may affect add-ons that provide reports features more than others.

      For example, the Time Tracker add-on when Switch to Timesheet view it tries to load after a long time returns an Internal Server error.

      Expected Results

      To load the timesheet.

      Actual Results

      Returns Internal Server Error.

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

            Wrong Component - Marketplace team doesn't own anything that the apps are doing themselves once installed. Please reach out to the Ecosystem team if anything is needed from Connect/Forge platforms. 

            Otherwise, we would need to work with the maker of the app to get help if we know the specifics of the app and how it is impacting performance.
