Link from "Check out the new version" redirecting to error pages

      Issue Summary

      There's an issue with the banner in the emails, redirecting to error pages. This occurs in New Version emails sent via Postaldistrix.

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. The customer opens the e-mail they received from reply@mail.notifications.atlassian.com 
      2. Click on the "Check out the new version" button

      Expected Results

      It's expected to redirect the user to the screen to see the new version available.

      Actual Results

      There's an issue with the banner in the emails; it is redirecting to error pages.

      The link in existing emails cannot be changed.

      Workaround

      Currently, there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available.

            This is still broken! The link does not point to the "versions" tab but opens the app's main view. Expected: Open the versions tab!

            We have shipped the fix to production. 

            For cloud apps the link would now point to https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/<app-id>/<app-name>?hosting=cloud&tab=versions

            I think this needs a higher priority! A lot of emails are sent out from the Marketplace to all app watchers with broken links!

            This ticket is being worked on , we are testing this defect fix. The team was working on a major deliverable and had to deprioritise the testing for few days. We have picked the testing back and will be updating the status

            Agree with d4cb4bee8c3a . We just released a big feature but it doesn't feel great to write a release note that we know will be broken. We were hoping this would be fixed fast so we can get a clean email out.

            Folks, you really need to prioritize this issue. This should never be a low priority. Why?

            All the app watchers receive email notification when a new version is released. There are tens of thousands app watchers and tons of app releases daily, means thousands of emails (you can check your internal metrics) with broken link, every SINGLE day.

            Therefore, please change the priority and fix ASAP.
