Inconsistency in search results for apps in UPM for DC instances

      Issue Summary

      Apps in search results are not ordered correctly. When a customer searches an app in UPM (DC instance) the app are not positioned as expected. The app positions differs compared to search results of Marketplace

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Step 1 - Login to Jira/Confluence DC instance.
      2. Step 2 - From UPM/Manage app page search for an app(by some keyword)
      3. Step 3 - From marketplace.atlassian.com search the app using the same keyword.
      4. Step 4 - Compare the results.

       

      Expected Results

      The UPM search results and the marketplace search results should be similar.

      Actual Results

      Apps are not ranked accordingly. The UPM search results and the marketplace search results are not same. An app positioned in #1 position in Marketplace search results appears in #9 position in UPM search results.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available
