Description
Issue
- The customer is using the "Migrate users related to the selected spaces" option in Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant
- We observe that All the users are Migrated
- Also the users are getting added to the confluence-users group. The migrated users have both site and product access.
Steps to replicate :
- Create few users in your confluence server.
- Create one space and add few pages using the users added in step#1
- Update to the latest version of Confluence Cloud Migration Assistant (3.2.6).
- Create a migration plan and ensure to select the "Migrate users related to the selected spaces" option is selected and chose the space you created in step #2.
- Create and run the migration.
- We observe that All the users are Migrated
Expected Results:
Only users part of the Space should be Migrated
When you select Only users related to the selected spaces under users and groups, We will only migrate this information for users directly connected to the spaces you are migrating. We will not give these users product access or add them to any groups. They will appear in your cloud site user list.
Actual results:
All the users are Migrated.
They are also added to the confluence-users group with the site and product access.
Also, we see errors like this:
