Provide a migration path to the Cloud Forge counterpart of a Server apps

      This ticket has been raised to track interest in an automated migration path for Cloud Forge apps.

      Problem Definition

      A vendor with a server app cannot provide an automated migration path to a Forge app.
      Currently only Atlassian Connect apps provide and support an automated migration path.

      Suggested Solution

      Provide an automated migration path.

      Workaround

      Today vendors can provide an app data migration path outside of the Cloud Migration Assistants. The Migration Assistants support displaying the vendor documentation using the Marketplace Migration API.

            I could no pass "cloud app installation" step. Once the app is installed and have an active subscription, I can pass that step. But, in the next step, migration assistant says "This app does not have an automated migration path" and don't allow me to proceed. I have set cloudMigrationAssistantCompatibility to current server app and implemented DiscoverableListener and added implementation to atlassian-plugin.xml file as component. But it still doesn't allow allow me to proceed. *I just need mappings from old issue ids to new issue ids and old worklog ids to new worklog ids. Is there any other way, I can get this mapping. This should be a lot easier than supporting a complete migration workflow.*
