Migration path to Cloud for Connector for Salesforce & Jira (NextGen)

Problem Definition

 
The new Atlassian App Migration Platform (currently under development) will enable all Atlassian Marketplace Partners apps to build automated/assisted migration paths for their apps.

Connector for Salesforce & Jira is a popular app that is available on DC, Server, and Cloud platform, however, there is no published migration path between the Server/DC version and the Cloud version.

Suggested Solution

 
When a customer migrates projects from Jira Server / Data Centre to Jira Cloud using the Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA), the app migration platform will coordinate with ServiceRocket to automatically relocate all connections, bindings, associations information and etc.

Current Status

The migration path of the connector with JCMA is currently in progress and our current target release date is End of March/Early April.
At the same time, we are collecting the requirements from the existing Server & Data Center customers for the migration functionality.
