External system import is not able to use Rank data

      Issue Summary

      Rank data within a JSON or CSV import file is not processed by the JSON or CSV importer. This means the the ranking from a source site cannot be moved into another using using the JSON or CSV importer.

      Steps to Reproduce

      • On a site, re-arrange the project issues in the backlog page
      • Generate a CSV / JSON file from the project with the Rank field included
      • On another site, import the CSV file while mapping the Rank field or import the JSON file

      Expected Results

      The imported jira issues preserves the ranking on the board.

      Actual Results

      No error is returned and no ranking data is imported or used. The imported issues are arranged on the board based on their create time.

      Note : JRACLOUD-67857 workaround will only create new rank data for the imported issue.

      Workaround

      Currently there is no known workaround for this behavior. A workaround will be added here when available

            Hi everyone,

            Thank you for previously raising this bug and bringing it to our attention.

            Within our company roadmap and work capacity, we try to address or review each bug request but admit that not each one will be resolved. To continue the culture of being honest and open, we are closing this bug considering its priority and impact to focus on our upcoming roadmap for all customers.
