    • Severity 3 - Minor

      Issue Summary

When using the Loom Desktop App on Windows, an invisible/unclickable area appears around the recording control panel during a recording session. This prevents users from interacting with buttons and controls of their screen, located near the panel, significantly impacting the recording experience.

Here is a screenshot example: https://www.loom.com/i/ac3d0876777646db8c811da578baf84e

      Environment:

      • OS: Windows (Version: 10.0.26200)
      • App: Loom Desktop App
      • Desktop App Version: 0.347.4

      Steps to Reproduce

      1. Open the Loom Desktop App on Windows.
      2. Start a recording (browser recording reproduces this more consistently).
      3. Try clicking buttons around the control panel.

      Expected Results

All buttons and areas surrounding the recording control panel should be fully clickable and accessible, allowing users to smoothly manage their recording.

      Actual Results

Buttons and areas around the control panel are not clickable or responsive. There appears to be an invisible region blocking clicks near the panel.

      Workaround

      No workaround is currently available.
